Can parents divide their assets among their three children and one grandchild as equals, consequently and purposely, leaving out their six other grandchildren. The grandchild mention is the child of one of the parent's three children. Now she (the daughter of the parents with the will) gets her own share and does not have to share it with her daughter (the grandchild) because the grandchild has her own share too. Can anyone stop this unfairness?

In New York, there is no requirement that any part of a person's estate must be left to grandchildren. The only person who cannot be disinherited is the surviving spouse.
